Cooking pot ramen
The authentic way |
Probably the easiest way to cook ramen noodles to perfection.
You need:
- 1 package of ramen noodles
- 2 cups of water per package (500ml.)
- a stove
- a cooking pot
- pot holders
- a strainer
How to cook:
1. Choose a pot that will be large enough to hold your noodles and the water you want to boil.
2. Pour the amount of water you need into the pot (don’t put the ramen yet).
3. Place the pot on the stove burner (cover the pot for faster results).
4. When your water is boiling, it’s time to put the ramen in the hot water.
5. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the noodles are tender and separated. Be careful, don’t overcook.
Additionnal information:
We will always recommend using cold water for cooking. Warm water from the tap may have been sitting in your pipes for quite some time.
For tons of other ways how to cook your favorite noodles, make sure to take a look at the ramen encyclopedia, as it features many ways, but also a lot of information on everything you need to know about ramen noodles and Japan cuisine.
