The chicken ramen recipes are very popular and are part of many japanese noodle meals. This white meat is widely used in Eastern Contries and is known to mix very well with the Dashi (broth) used in most noodle soups.
Also, the chicken soup base that is found in instant noodles packages is by far the most popular flavor. It was the first to be commercialized, in 1958, by Momofuku Ando the instant ramen creator. Today, every major brand of instant noodles features one or several chicken flavor as their best selling products. The next most popular flavors of soup base are beef and oriental.
